"For The Glory"

People ask about this musical all the time:  "Is it depressing?" or "Is it all about war?" or "Does it have dancing soldiers?" etc.  

I think that people have struggled with the idea of this topic being visited via musical theatre.  Here's the truth....it's effective in a way that I've rarely seen on a stage.

The music is moving, inspirational, exciting, fun, and honest.  The lyrics are based on the actual letters written during this period in our country's history.  The songs and scenes examine the reality of all different perspectives and viewpoints of the time.  

In rehearsals and performances over the years I have cried, laughed, gotten angry, and been inspired.  I've also been in awe of the talent featured in one show on one stage all at one time.  It's always breathtaking.  Every single time.

I think that this musical/concert is a must-see. I'm thrilled to be a part of this Flat Rock Playhouse production.  It's going to be top notch!  I hope you'll come to see us!
