I love working with great people! I'm currently in Edmonton, Alberta with the symphony performing a Sci-Fi themed concert with Jack Everly, Kristen Plumley and George Takei. My friend Michael Runyun is also here sharing his great talent...it's a pleasure just interacting with these amazingly talented folks.
I've had the pleasure of working with George Takei and his husband/manager Brad Altman for a while now and I am constantly impressed with the professionalism and integrity with which they both work. I love to see George proudly and boldly take a stand everywhere he goes for equality...he is bound and determined to make this world a better place. Both he and Brad are true heroes.
I hope that I will leave behind the same kind of legacy when I leave this life. I'm growing so exhausted with divisiveness and hatred on this planet. It just doesn't make sense to me....and I want no part of it anymore. We are all beautiful creations and we all serve a purpose that is much greater than ourselves. To love....and build....and to leave this earth a better place when we go.
I've been given the gift of healing through music, and I do not take it lightly. I feel like the most fortunate man on earth. Every chance I'm given to perform and stand before an audience is a blessing...a gift. Thank you all for listening and for giving me the opportunity again and again.
Peace,
Mike

Many blessings,

I just wanted to say hello and tell you thank you for inspiring us in so many ways. My daughter, Macy, was in awe when you came to The Woodlands with Dennis DeYoung. She says you are her hero. She is a sophomore at The Woodlands High School now, and just got her first lead in a musical, and she gives you all the credit. I read what you said about all the hatred in the world and I completely agree. Through the theater department, Macy has made many different kinds of friends, ans she is so accepting of people's differences. She gives me hope that things can change -that people can stop judging and start appreciating each other. Life's too short! Take care and come back to Houston! (And, hey, I remember Mandi McGinnis from WAY BACK WHEN)
Love Ya!
